No.1 Product Descriptions
We manufacture and supply superior quality medium wave infrared heater that consists of a helically wound resistance coil housed in a pure vitreous silica fused quartz tube. The quartz tubing is terminated with ceramic insulating caps that are specially designed to allow the quartz tubing to breathe. The ceramic caps are tightly fastened to the quartz tube with high temperature cement that allows the quartz to breathe. Made of high quality material, these are superior in performance and offer long serving life.
The filament temperature of a medium wave emitter is from 850°F and 2150°F (454°C - 1177°C). The majority of energy generated by the medium wave lamps is in the range of the electromagnetic spectrum between 2-4 microns. Medium wave emissions do not penetrate as deep into substrates as shortwave. The emissions are readily absorbed by water films, plastics and many solvents.

Benefits of Coating
1.All of our emitters can be coated with a layer of gold or ceramic as reflectors. The gold/ ceramic coating can concentrate the heat, increasing the effectiveness of the heat output.
2. The emitters with coating are highly economical, converting practically all the consumed
electrical power into heat.
3.For the emitters with high watt density or the surface temperature of the tube above 800°C , we suggest to use ceramic coating as reflector because the temperature resistance is up to 1000°C .
In addition to 180°(half-tube) coating, we also manufacture 270° coating or other customer specified degrees.
